Dive into our 'Thailand TEFL Explorer Program'. No degree? No problem! You'll get the best 120 Hour Advanced TEFL Course on the market in Hua Hin for 4 weeks, and then step into a guaranteed paid teaching internship for 5 -12 months in Thailand or Cambodia. We handle all the details, so you can focus on your adventure. Open to applicants from English-speaking and European countries.
Internship in collaboration with local Thai partner & North Bangkok University.
You can also do your placement in Cambodia if you preferred!
What's included?
Paid TEFL internship starting out at 4.5 months in total with option to extend. Fly out in September or March every year for the 4 week TEFL course in Hua Hin. We work with well established organisations all across Thailand or Cambodia to facilitate your placement. No experience or degree needed and full training provided.

Salary & Benefits
You'll be paid well. 30,000 THB per month which goes a long way in Thailand with the cost of living being one of the lowest in Asia.

Program Fee
Our Thailand Explorer Program costs £2000 spread out over 3 equal payments. The first payment can be made as soon as you've sent in your application materials and have been accepted. Need a reminder of what's included again? Here it is below:

Already have a TEFL?
As this program is an internship and directly affiliated with North Bangkok University, you will be on an education visa with internship practicum from the university, you will need to take the 4 week in-person TEFL course which is provided. An online TEFL course will not suffice for this program and we can not accept any other course.
If you did not want to do this, we would suggest joining our Cambodia Explorer Program in which we can accept any TEFL course you may have.
Housing Assistance
During your the 4 week course and orientation, accommodation is provided as part of the program fee. Once you transition to your placement location, a local coordinator will assist you in finding your own apartment. You may have the option to share a house with fellow program participants if you are placed in the same school, or you can choose a private one-bedroom studio. With monthly rents ranging from just £100 to £150, housing in Thailand is remarkably affordable, making your stay both comfortable and economical.
Other financials
In addition to the £2000 program fee, it’s important to plan financially for other expenses. Budget an extra £2000 to cover flights, spending money, visa fees, and initial living costs in Thailand or Cambodia before your earnings begin. This preparation ensures you're fully equipped for a smooth start to your teaching adventure.
Friends & Couples Discounts
Embark on an unforgettable adventure to Thailand with your partner or friends! When applying, let us know if you're part of a group or couple and you'll receive a £100 discount each! We can place you together in the same school or town. For larger groups, please note that you might be divided into smaller units for placements, as schools in Thailand typically prefer not to hire large groups together.
