Online Thailand Cultural Foundation Course (40 hours): Interactive course. Course materials are included. Topics include Thai History, Culture, Language, Living and Working, Diversity.
60-Hour Online TESOL Course: Interactive course covering how to create lesson plans, plan activities, etc.
One Week Culture, Language Orientation: In-class one week culture and language program upon arrival in country, including:
Airport pickup in Bangkok and transfer to Bangkok hotel (provide that the applicant land within 4 days of start of the cultural orientation)
Transfer from Bangkok to Hua Hin
Accommodation in Bangkok for one night
Accommodation throughout the remainder of the program. (Shared accomodations)

Accommodation utilities cost in Hua Hin (1,000 baht utilities
stipend provided per 4 weeks) It is advised to bring around £500 in spending money for every 4 week camp. Additional costs such as flights heavily depends on the location of departure. Please check the flight prices for your chosen date + departure location to Bangkok.

The English camps are aimed at helping disadvantaged Thai learners develop the skills necessary to improve their lives and communicate effectively across cultures.

The program's home base is Hua Hin, a beautiful beach resort town south of Bangkok.

Upon arrival in Bangkok, camp counselors are transferred to Hua Hin for a cultural orientation. Our local team will provide airport pickup in Bangkok and transfer to a Bangkok hotel, provided the applicant lands within four days of the cultural orientation's start.

Applicants must have a strong command of the English language, be in sound physical and mental health, be age 18 or older, and have sufficient funds to pay for the program and related fees and costs. You be a Native English speaker or have a Native level of English.

Shared accommodation is provided throughout the program, which may be shared with another camp counselor of the same gender. Private rooms can be made available for an additional cost. Please speak with your coordinator about it before arrival.

Yes, a refundable deposit of approximately $75 USD is required. This deposit will be returned at the end of the program, minus any utility costs for water and electricity.

Week 1 is a cultural orientation dedicated to gaining insights into Thai culture, religion, and language. Activities include Thai lessons led by experienced instructors, volunteering at a local animal rescue organization, exploring Buddhism through meditation and a temple visit (including a special blessing from the Dean of a nearby monastery), and Muay Thai training.

Thai lessons will be led by experienced instructors, including Dr. Michael Volpe, a Thailand resident of 20 years with a Ph.D. in Thai culture and politics.

Counselors will travel to different regions of Thailand to lead English camps in local schools. Each camp lasts 2 to 4 days, featuring interactive learning and fun activities.

Yes, between camps, counselors will return to Hua Hin for rest and relaxation.
